Declin species (at European level according to IUCN) - Gomphocerippus rufus, Arcyptera fusca, Calliptamus italicus, Chorthippus dorsatus, Decticus verrucivorus.
Thriving species (at European level according to IUCN) - Bombus hortorum, Xylocopa violacea Sympetrum sanguineum, Calopteryx splendens, Calopteryx virgo, Orthetrum brunneum, Valgus hemipterus.
Following the three factors category proposed by NatureServe applied on the selected key species we can issue the following conclusions:
1.All the key species are linked to the flora and other fauna key species, therefore, the conservation measures which will lead to the conservation of invertebrates selected species, will take into account their ecological niche.
2.Even if some species are in decline at European level, the local conservation status is favorable, the quarry’s and the surrounding habitats are still favorable for their development, and the populations health is stable.
